I haven't gotten a response from QL. I wondered if anybody else has this problem from QL charts or any other charting system? Am I expecting too much for chart info to be real time?

Steve,

I apologize I haven't been on SI for a while and your posts have not been responded to earlier. You have touched on the two major priorities we have to resolve with QL at present. When we rolled out QL charts was not complete. Our software developer had to first work on some major projects for back office managing of accounts for other groups and institutions who will be using this software. Just yesterday he was working on the problem you mention where the time on the bars was off. I will be checking it today to see if he has corrected the problem.

Volume is another situation where there seems to be a format problem between the raw data received from Comstock and our software which effects the reporting of volume on some stocks. Comstock and our developer have not isolated the problem yet but we have that as a high priority to resolve ASAP.

I will work on a list of the index symbols for the market minder window and make them available today or tomorrow. The S&P futures will be made available to use on QL in the near future but I cannot be more specific as to when yet.

The issues you mention are important but I just want you not to lose sight of the key advantages that QL offers to traders for improving ones ability to make money, and that is speed of data received and speed of executions, direct access to trading island book and an excellent account manager for dynamically tracking your trading. Our emphasis and priorities have been in the areas of speed, simplicity, ease of use and access to important trading tools to give our traders these advantages in today's markets.

Thank you for your feedback.

Dan
