VTS Q2 24c (Merrill had recently guesstimated 18c). But back log down 34% since the prior qtr end and mgt expects 'nominal' eps the remaining 2 qtrs. Merrill had guesstimated $1.10 for fiscal 99 (VTS has made 83c so far) and $1.00 for 2000. Presume ML will lower numbers somewhat...Qtrly annualized Revenue was $17.91/sh...Cash on balance sheet $3.30..... I think that most of this result is in the stock and it should surprise no one given the market conditions for exploration.
