ATHM is going to get an agreement with Time Warner Corp, I read it on one of the news items but can't find the link.

Also when I heard the $29.95 price I was a bit put off, until I realized I get my phone line back from the kids (or I stop paying the extra $15.00 for the second phone line!

By getting ATHM, I actually SAVE money over my Earthlink Connection plus extra phone line.

Two mottos they should adopt in their marketing department are as follows:

"Surf 100 times faster At Home"

or

"Get the phone line back from your kids"

Best of luck tomorrow. I am sure we will open above $120

<<Even the dumb kids in school want fast access...not just the MIT
wiz kids.....they just may be spending more time playing games
>>

Rogers Cable in Toronto & possibly right across Canada is using kids in their TV commercials.

1. One kid is showing her two astonished friends that her dad used to use a telephone jack to connect to the internet. "Wow, how old is your dad"

2. Two kids try to explain to their teacher why the didn't do their homework. Dog ate it or something like that. The third kid says that her home is still connected to the internet by phone. The teacher is totally sympathetic. "you can bring it in whenever it's ready"

Both ads are effective to parents but I now realize that they may also be reaching kids....who can't wait...that's a lot more pressure on mom and dad.
