gjhinc--nope, no technical trading for me. I think the correlations you see work in reverse -- I think the announcements are timed to try to play the technical side of the game. I figure the day traders are being played like a violin -- all the time thinking they are calling the tune. Only gold is more manipulated than the net stocks. The flaw in the manipulation game is the macro picture, which net traders do not even seem to see let alone respond to, until it comes up and whacks them really hard -- then they ask 'is there any news?' LOL.

<GST> Are you for the most part a technical trader?
Have you ever plotted AMZN closing price vs. new messages in "SI : Talk : Web/Info :
AMAZON.COM (AMZN)"?
I think I'm starting to see a correlation. The price moves up, lots of new messages. Price
goes down, nobody has anything to say. Is it possible to make money with this
information?

gjh,

I easily could be wrong but posting activity is directly related to the amount of movement up or down. There was a fair amount of traffic here and I was away from the computer;-)
