Billy Boy, you're the stupid lying piece of garbage. You should be careful about digging up old posts of mine, there's always some ad hominem masterpiece of yours just up the line. As in,

When it comes to impeachment, we should all step back and seriously measure the gravity of the procedure. It takes putting partisanship aside to do this.

You have done nothing but spew hate toward republicans, offering no real insight. The Bush and Thomas issues are past and not directly comparable because there was no allegation of perjury or obstruction of justice, as the IC has referred about Clinton. Even if you can't, the Congress will surely stay on topic and most will put aside petty partisan politics.

Yes, you were always just the guy to lecture on partisanship, Billy Boy. Those House hotheads really took the gravity of the situation seriously. Lead by the non-partisan and professional Newt, of course. Couldn't wait to dump the Starr report in all its unexpurgated lurid detail on the unsuspecting public. Always good for a laugh, my prince of pus Billy Boy. Now DeLay is the behind - the scenes successor to Newt. The Hammer, ex-exterminator, just the guy to lead the party of Lincoln forward.

A number of moderate Republicans pointed out that many of their party brethren loathe the President so passionately that they simply cannot conceive that people of good will could feel otherwise. Given their own scorn, they cannot admit that most Americans disagree with them without feeling contempt for the people themselves, an emotion very few politicians permit themselves to express. Tom DeLay, the Republican majority whip and the leader of the party's Clinton-hating faction, insisted in a speech before the House that impeachment was a matter of "relativism versus absolute truth." Given the choice, Americans, it turned out, preferred a tolerant and forgiving relativism.

DeLay's dah man, right Bill? You're just doing your little part to assist him in convincing the 2/3 that we're all stupid, and you're not. With people like you, DeLay, and the local Clinton haters steadfastly refusing to move on, things are looking better all the time for the party of Lincoln. Fine by me.
