Can anyone tell me where on the computer the "buffer" is stored? Is it RAM? or is it on the hard disk? And, if it is on the hard disk, is there any way to specify the location?

To Dave Gardy: Hey, I'm listening to the jazz channel--can't see anything but a fuzzy piano player but the music quality is great. I can see where this is heading, when bandwith comes. I guess for now you might as well tease us with the idea... Jill
