<<Because my luck is pretty bad, I was originally thinking, well, 45 now plus 10 yrs plus another 10 is 65. Not very old.>>

Well when my heart was acting up last month at 50 I was hoping for 51. Not in dogs years either.

Once we hit 40 we are in the hands of genes and science. I hope science can make you well. Pick good docs and let them do their best, then we'll go fishing together.

I have a neighbor in his 30s who took a lot of prednisone as part of cancer therapy. The prednisone wrecked his hips, and he had them both replaced around a year ago. He had to give up water skiing, but other than that he's doing great. One of my customers, a guy around 60 or so, had one hip replaced and was out walking about two days after the operation.
