Yeah, It did not include Dell, but the fault line is there, I'm afraid. Intel is in real low end trouble, either lose low end, or lower margins. I don't see any magic bullet for this problem they have.

ian, i could be totally wrong but i think retail mrkt is approx 33% of pc and rest goes to the business. So intel still has a major part of the market.

if intel had for e.g. 90% and amd had 10% ( i m gona leave out nsm for now). Then even if that becomes 80/ 20 (intel/amd)
it's still double for amd.

i heard something like dell is going to put in dual processor instead
of one, you can bet intel's margin going to be hurt by this not dell's.
dell is not spending anything more.

some one pls. clarify if i m on the wrong track. long intc/dell and techs.
