Ish Fualk should I know about so-cal? I live in Illinois. Nothing, apparently. I was prompted to recommend the book by your earlier post to me mentioning a book with which I was not familiar, from which I inferred that you enjoyed reading. Your recent posts suggested an interest in California's potential for disaster. That's it. Judging by your reaction, it appears I was mistaken. So, do you live in that porion of the state (i.e. outside of metropolitan Chicago or the university towns) where the motto is: Illinois -- corn-fed, inbred, brain-dead.
