Did anyone expect DHEA to be successful against Alzheimer's?

The EAAT deal seems to be much more important than moving on from a lame DHEA program. For the future, NBIX will be remembered for dragging such a program through a large, international, multi-center Phase III.

So.... how about "bugly"?

David:

I had given the DHEA projects at NBIX and GNLB chances of success of zero and zero, respectively. I presume that others had assigned similar optimistic projections.
