There was a story tonight on CNBC about a nuclear energy plant in York, Pa. They were testing their plant by putting in the year 2000 in their system.

All the gauges, meters, went blank for 7 hours. These were stated to be mission critical systems .

Because of early testing they will have time to fix this problem.

Think of all the companies, and countries who have waited to work on their Y-2K problems.

Some have already announced they will fix them on a as failure basis. Boy will I be holding my breathe when the ball drops in the Big Apples' Times' Square.

I think we will be getting news about problems from Europe ahead of time.
A 9 hour difference?

Think of it. As news slowly creeps of a giant blackout all across the Continent, the panic we all feel, praying and hoping our Utility Companies did a good job.
