Daniel I was just opening a new account with WEBSTREET and I'm disappointed to hear you are having problems. Ameritrade is the only other one I found that doesn't charge extra for stocks under a dollar but they are slow too. Webstreet with their no minimum to open a account does have an advantage for any new investor that doesn't want to or can't start with the $2000 min. most others require. Let me know if you find anyone better. Deep discounters are having a lot of problems handling the volume
