Kimberly, you are one of the most knowledgeable and helpful people on SI. I hope people appreciate your posts. I may have missed your answer to this question, but how do you come ot know so much about MM action?

Also who are the sleaziest MM's around and how much do they influence the stocks that they are in?

Do you normally avoid stocks that they are involved with?

Kim, what do you think of the close on PFOO?

Looks like something is going on. I'm hearing heavy hype on news announcements over the next several days.

Who knows?

Kimberly and all:
I just created a new thread for VHSN. There was another thread, with 3 whole posters, which had been kicked from the New listings. My thread focuses on their web site launch later this week. I would appreciate anyones and everyones participation or thoughts:

Kimberly, I don't have level II, nor am I familiar with the specific MMs. That is the next thing I need to learn. Maybe you can help. I will get Level II within the next month. I think it would be great for you to call the company and apply pressure regarding MMs.

I have another stock I have been working on for about 10 days. The MMs have really been hosing buyers much worse than anything you have seen on CULE. The company is addressing the problem with the MMs. So, it does work. On this particular stock, as people buy, they raise the ask. Not the bid. Then on a single, small sell, they drop the bid. The stock is less than a dollar and the spread has gone from .031 to .37 on 12 buys of 1000 shares or more and ONE 1000 share sell. On Monday the stock traded 19,000 shares (high volume for it) of these 19,000, 18K were at the ask or a limit close to the ask. The beginning bid/ask was .625 X .656, by the time the trading ended the bid/ask was .56 X .93 on a 18-1 buying ratio. Figure this.
