Actually, in the short term, market is wrong quite often -- mostly because of incompetent analysts, day-traders & uneducated retail investors who jump on & off the bandwagon at the wrong time.

Contrarian investment is all about taking advantage of these short-term market inefficiencies.

When the market & the press was all goo goo gaa gaa over YF and sent it's share price beyond it's fundamental value, that was the time to get out.

Now that the press & the retail investors are all negative towards YF, this is SURE sign that YF has only one direction to go --- UP!

Good morning, Ward. In our experience and opinion, fortunes are often made when the market is wrong. In fact, the herd mentality of the markets often leads to overpricing when sentiment is good and overselling when the sentiment is negative.

We have seen this time and time again. Our most recent example was ATI Tech at $12.00 back in November. The same investors who thought we were crazy were some of the same ones buying in at $18 as it made its way to $27.00. Today, it sits in the $20.00 range. Thus, $12 was on oversold price and $27 was on overbought price. In both those instances, given the fact the fundamentals had not really changed, the market was wrong and was led only by sentiment.

In the case of YF, it is starting to shape up the same way. $14 now appears to be the overbought position, while $3.00 seems to be the oversold position. We are willing to split the difference and call YF fairly priced in the $8.50 range.

Don't know why you want to call our past posts "fundamental fluff". We don't recall ever posting YF fundamental data that was incorrect.

We will always claim the market has it wrong. ALWAYS, ALWAYS...but we respect your right to disagree. Thus, let's revisit YF after the release of summer financials (sometime in the late fall).

Have a great day.
