Vol:
You may be right but I would be very careful about buying
puts on WMT. Nobody knows for sure but Wal-Mart is such a
well managed company that betting against it is a risky
proposition.

I think alot of investors are like me. I bought WMT at 23 for
my kid's education about three years ago. I am tempted to sell
some shares but after taxes, my problem would be where to re-
invest the profits. In the retail sector, outside of Dayton
Hudson and Kohls, nobody comes close. In addition, I think that
the prospect of a stock split, while meaning nothing financially,
usually is a positive.

All in all, the PE of 40+ may be high but Wal-Mart certainly
deserves a premium.

Whatever you do, good luck (as long as WMT keeps climbing).
