True.
All of it.
They are implemented in some language, if you say C++, Java, ok.
You also know why standards are agreed upon, so companies can build complimentary products.
Will the standard take a couple of years? Don't know.
Will they have to rewrite? Probably.
Just my opinion.
Otherwise, why the charade? Why waste the energy, and why the gaff yesterday? If the impact was zero, why the concern?

This will be another topic to be discussed quite a long time, but one impact, it highlights the vigourous market activity.
For the next six months the market will have to decide, after all, General Magic is a company going to market with a new product, Portico, selling components to Wireless Knowledge and Intuit, and participating in standard setting.
Hopefully we can at least agree on that. EOM.
