Stephen - Re: " What's the connection?..ALTR and TSM " Altera is a large customer of TSMC's for their logic process wafers that ALtera builds much of their advanced FLEX CPLD/FPGAs on. EEPROM/FLASH wafers are also furnished bt TSMC for ALTERA for their CPLD line of devices. Altera is also part owner, along with TSMC, in a fairly new wafer fab in Camus Washington - WaferTech. Again, Altera uses this for guaranteed foundry wafer capacity.
