You misunderstand my post. I am not betting on Wall-mart. I'm betting that the big retailers are not going to sit on their asses while Amazon takes over the Web with 10% margins. How will they do that? By reducing prices to the point where nobody makes any margins on net commerce. The Net is power to the consumer and the death of margins for retailers. Buy.com has the right idea. Sell it at cost and make money from advertising. I really don't know why AMZN bulls think that AMZN can somehow charge more for goods than any other on-line retailer. It just won't work in the long run, and Amazon does not have the cash for the long run.
