Harry -- Thanks for asking -- I subscribe to PC Mag as well and also saw the article. Yes, I finally fixed the annoying problem -- talk about convoluted, though (I was a victim of hitting the "esc" key at signon -- JEEZ, how could I have possibly missed that one <g>). If TP's answer to "dial tone" quality is anything like what I went through to simply get my internet connection to dialup and login automatically, CF's got nothing to worry about, IMO. Much appreciate the follow up... RK
