NEWPORT BEACH, Calif., March 3 /PRNewswire/ -- Biomerica, Inc. (Nasdaq: BMRA) today
announced the debut of its Web site, testathome.com, to market home medical tests
directly to consumers. This is part of Biomerica's soon to be introduced HomeDrugStore.com division,
which will market a broad range of medical products to assist consumers with conditions or diseases
requiring a constant supply of medical products for use in the home.

"We have an aggressive schedule for using E-Commerce to introduce our medical products and
services to a national audience via the Internet," said Zackary S. Irani, Biomerica Chief Executive
Officer. "The products that will be sold at TESTatHOME.com are technically advanced yet simple to
use. For example, the Drugs of Abuse test, available at the Web site, can detect if any one of six
commonly abused drugs were used in the last 90 days by analyzing one human hair."

Home health products currently available at TESTatHOME.com include tests for HIV-1 (AIDS),
colorectal disease, including cancer, urinary tract infection, pregnancy and ovulation, bladder disease,
skin growth, cholesterol and drugs of abuse. The site will soon add diabetic tests and supplies.

All the products sold at TESTatHOME.com have been highly rated by scientists for effectiveness and
ease of use. The products can be used in the privacy of the consumers' home and have been cleared
by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration for such use.

Mr. Irani said the HomeDrugStore.com site is different from other online drug store sites since it targets
select individuals with long term medical conditions, such as cancer or diabetes, that require a
constant supply of medical products. Patients or their families will be able to set up "recurring" orders,
to have supplies delivered to their home, on a particular day on a continual basis. HomeDrugStore will,
at no charge, also bill insurance companies for certain items.

"HomeDrugStore plans to provide an important service to these consumers and their families, helping
them obtain needed products, at a low cost, delivered directly to their homes and also assisting them
with insurance billing. We are pleased that we will be able to offer this help to people with long term
health needs," Mr. Irani said.

Irani said Biomerica plans to market the sites through links with other online entities, monthly
contests, including free shopping sprees, and advertising. The company also plans to build
associations with other online companies.

More than 320 million people will use the Internet in the new millennium and 40 percent of these will
make online purchases, according to Internet experts. These experts also say that almost half of all
current Internet users search for online health information. "This makes the Internet an ideal place to
sell products related to healthcare," Irani said.

Biomerica (Nasdaq: BMRA) is a global medical company devoted to developing, manufacturing and
marketing advanced medical diagnostic products for the early detection of diseases. The products are
used in hospitals, physicians' offices and in the home for self-testing.
