The WST today mentioned that they would look for a company "linking mobile computers to loal area and other networks". Less encouraging they say that these companies "are closely held". Private?
I would consider PAIR definitly out. As Juniper mentioned somewhere (Nokia is a big shareholder already, and theyr are not wireless)
From the list, I would look at IDC.
I thought initially at AFCI, bt discarded it.

Steve,
I would rule out DGII. I bought and sold the stock many years ago and still follow it occasionally. It is a disaster, poor acquisitions recently, several in management resigning, etc.

As a post mortem, I too thought DGII might be a good candidate and
still do for someone else. Siemens stepped up to the plate today and
started to fill out their card. I think there is a lot more
consolidation still to come.
