Post from Yahoo!

A poster from Yahoo! reports:

"The ELN bombings took place in the Palenque Field which belongs to Braspetro. They also kidnapped an engineer from Petrotesting de Colombia."

also posted . . .

"Will not affect Hec at this stage as itis on the NE border with Venezuela transporting Oxy's oil. The ELN make regular habit of blowing this line. However this time, the spill was massive enough to make the River Catatumbo a waste land and the oil flowed into Southern Lake Maracaibo.

Art,
Well, I guess that shows you how much the WSJ knows. Line is back in operation today. Oil was still up significantly, though.
We still need OPEC to cut more production for it to move back up to profitable levels for us. Will just have to wait and see if the turnaround is real or not.
Lots of speculation now.
HEC had a nice move today too. As goes oil, so goes HEC.
Rod.
