I wish I really knew when to "buy more": lately every time I think its the "dip" a new dip comes.
But I remember when I held USRobotics, my first tech stock. It eventually made good money for me. BUT
In March-April of the year it made money the share price fell by 50% Ouch OUch OUch. I remember calling Fidelity to sell some govt bonds I had left over from my cautious investing days and I told the rep to sell the bonds and buy USRobotics. And he said "You are going to do WHAT?????? Sell government bonds and buy USROBOTICS???? Are you sure you know what you are doing?" I had bought my first shares at $80 so I figured buying more at $50 was a good idea. It then went down to $40!!!!!! (And back to $80 happy ending.)
So I guess we just have to all hold on!
Happy Birthday.
