Thank you Sili,

Now that is the type of exchange I accept from a fellow threader.

There was no need for name calling and unnecessary accusatory remarks - especially when nothing I wrote warranted that reaction. In one post I asked if anyone new of the industry for the new acquisition. Now what was wrong with that question?

Is CGI looking for another IT company? Is it looking for a company in the financial sector? Or is it looking for something in the Insurance industry? Now, please, anyone tell me if there was anything wrong with my question.

Secondly, I've been a shareholder of CGI since July 97. I had tried to time the stock - unsuccessfully I might add. Since I kept missing the boat. In May 98 I decided to stay with CGI through thick and thin and as such dedicated the bulk of my portfolio to CGI. I lived through the misery of Sept-Oct where the shares tumbled to 50% of my Average price.

In one of my posts I simply expressed the opinion of many I know. I am sure that that opinion is shared by many of you as well. BM wanted to kill the messenger for uttering what he probably thought as well.

In conclusion, I'd like to use the words of a fellow threader from another link to summarize the utility of threads:

... to seek the kernel of knowledge in every intelligent poster's position, and use it to grow my personal wealth.
