Steve,you make a good point. Maybe CIST doesn't want to attract the wrong people.

You can only show your revenue on the income statement in the year that you receive it. If you still have any cash remaining after that year, it must be shown in the balance sheet as cash or receivables (if you have not been paid yet). Receivables only reflect the cash that you expect to receive within the next twelve months.
