LOS ANGELES--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 2, 1999--Texas Micro Inc. (Nasdaq:TEXM) announced the launch of its Enabling Solutions Partners (ESP) program at Computer Telephony Expo 99.

The ESP program will allow original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) to increase their focus on their core businesses by providing them with more detailed and precise application enabling solutions. Partners in the ESP program will add value to Texas Micro's products, providing application support, integration and other services to Texas Micro's OEM customers. This program will give OEMs a "whole product solution" for quicker time-to-market with their products and a reduction in integration and testing costs.

"Texas Micro created the Enabling Solutions Partners program to allow the Company and its partners to compete on a worldwide basis by effectively letting companies go after business in their respective markets," says Terry Manus, Vice President Sales, Texas Micro. "This is truly a win-win opportunity for Texas Micro, our ESPs and our OEM customers."

At Computer Telephony Expo 99, Texas Micro announced Wilmington, Mass.-based Trilogic Systems as the inaugural company participating in the ESP program. Paul continued, "Trilogic Systems has made a significant investment over the last 10 years in building an organization that fits perfectly with the objectives of the program. In recognizing the critical role a solutions channel plays in enabling OEMs and manufacturers to focus on their core competencies, Texas Micro has stepped ahead of much of their competition."
