CS is dead.... they're going nowhere...yes, bullet in the head. LU and COMpost? Hmmmm, hadn't really thought about that one. You're right about margins being less of an issue. The only thing that would seem orthoginal (sorry for the Biesner word) is that COMS is a NIC, premise vendor and LU/ASND want to be a player in the carrier market. I would think that our friends would be not so interesting. The gang over at ASND seem to think that LU has all the layer 3 they need with IP Navigator but I agree with you, I think LU needs some more layer 3 help. I'm must not so sure CANTCOM is the place to get it simply since their business is so different. This being said LU could pick 'em up, keep TotalControl, spin off the PalmPilot division, sell the NIC business to INTC and ...well...at current valutions this could prove to be very interesting indeed.... Hmmmmm... now I'm thinking again.. I know, this is dangerous.... I think this requires a little poking around. I'll let you know what I find out. BTW: Can't make tonight - my daugters first softball practice of the season is at 5:00. Where are you today? I can stop by and pick up the planks.... OG
