I always get a kick out of their press releases. The statement that the North American dry-cleaning industry, a seven billion dollar annual market ... has consistently grown an average rate of 10% each year is bull of course. Even today it is smaller than it was in 1960. It is true that it grew in the unusual period from 1970 to 1990, but historically it has consistently shrunk in terms or the total fabricare market as more and more fabrics can be cared for by the consumer at home.
