IBMikey, I am soooo glad I don't have a cable modem or I wouldn't be talking....Yes sirreee BoB, the cables down AGAIN!...come on TCI! Cable is too arial prone to trees falling on lines! But my phone keeps on ticking GO GTE BUY PAIR!!!!!!! You just hit the jackpot!!! Isn't it funny that none of the cable or network companies gloat with proof of how reliable is their network? That's because it ain't so reliable. Except for major disasters, telephone networks are and have been the most reliable networks ever. Ask your cable company for their reliability record or uptime.
