I can't believe they would get too many takers of their bonds. These people buy gold to protect their assets against a government monetary collapse. I think buying the bonds would defeat their purpose. Did they say what percent of the bonds are backed by gold. I would be surprised if it were 100%. Either way I would rather have physical gold as opposed to some additional government paper.
