The 1 hour 20 minute conference call has just concluded and I will try to give a brief recap.Overall, there was some very positive news provided, with the caveat there is "still" some frustration as to the data numbers being provided to the analyst. To a degree I can understand the position that ATRX has taken on this issue.

There were 11 individuals that participated in the call: Dillon Read and Smith Barney were the two "name" brokerage firms. The one that caught my "ear" was a lady that represented an institutional investment firm(didn't get the name of the firm). She was funny and indicated they were interested in ATRX.(This would be great news). She was very impressed(my take) with the pipeline of products that ATRX had in the works. She felt with this potential the stock wasn't being valued properly by Wall STreet.(I agree).

Dentist now using the product.....upper 1,000's. Block sales reps. are now spending more time per visit as they are training the full staff as to how to use the product. Reorders are increasing because dentist are able to see the results in short period of time as compared to previous methods of treatment.

Most immediate news is the "fact" that approval is expected in England by the end of the quarter.(This means in the next three weeks) A marketing partner will also be in place in the near future. Milestone payments will not be as large as Block but revenue percentages will probably be the same.

ATRX will not show a profit in first two quarters but are expected by the third and fourth Q's with full year expected to show a profit(This is good news).

Profit margins will increase in coming quarters.

Four page ad being run currently in Dental Journals. 200 presentation events planned for the year(Dental colleges and other group forums). Dr. Christenson "favorable" video is now available.

Phase I Prostate trials are underway and patients currently are receiving treatments. First results will be available in end of March and report issued in April. Will then move forward with FDA to start critical Phase III and hopefully apply for NDA and approval in 2000.

Urhiem repeated several times.....sales are increasing each month and that Block felt this was one of their Major products and were exceeding sales forecast.

These are the major points, will add more if I can make them out of my notes. Now we wait for the European approval in the next few weeks.

I think the research shows that, with Atridox, margin gain was best in the deepest pockets. This is something to check with the company.

Also, in deeper pockets there is no guarantee that SRP will be effective. In reality, the deeper the pocket, the less chance for all the calculus to be removed. My brother is a dentist and he has told me of instances where SRP results in closing the pocket halfway down, thereby creating an abscess below the pocket closure.

I really don't see how this dentist could call Atridox expensive. The conference call stated that a unit costs roughly forty to forty-five dollars, and it will treat one quadrant, or one-fourth of the mouth. Dentists are using that one unit and charging one hundred to one hundred twenty dollars. The procedure is a ten to fifteen minute affair, so they are making a lot of money in terms of chair time.

Just my thoughts.
