You are attributing an intention to me, that is not there. all I am saying(with zero hidden agenda)is that you feel it is God's will(and because of that, the man is always the best suited for the job), and I feel that the person best suited for the job(by personal characteristic) should do it. I am not making a case for a "winner" to any debate. That is not going to be settled here. I am comfortable with my position as I know you are yours. Neither of us is a good enough orator to settle any type of "cosmic" debate:-) I told you at the outset, that I was interested in the "why's" of the way that you feel, and that I am not trying to change your mind(again, not that I can or want to) I already know how and why people similar to myself feel. I am not nearly as familiar as to why Fundamentalists feel the way they do. I am only interested in a higher degree of understanding, not in changing how you or I feel at the core. My intentions are far more benign that those that have sometimes been attributed to me. That is probably my fault, which is why I am taking pains to make it abundantly clear right here. Mark
