JP, Schwab is growing at a rate equal to about 1/4 of its pe ratio. It is achieving this modest growth during the most manic bull market since the 1920s, if not forever, with the most ignorant base of investors that have ever existed and a Fed that is encouraging indebtedness to an unprecedented degree . Any environment even a bit tougher than that and we have a co. growing in single digits or not at all.

Basically, folks can make up stories about other cos. and why they should be overpriced. But Schwab is plain vanilla and it is not only overpriced, it is curdled. <g>
