I can't believe CNBC hasn't mention the upcoming split all week. When they do look for a run up.

I encourage all longs to call "Taking Stock" segments at CNBC and start your question with Now that Dell split this Friday 2 for one what is your opinion.

The number is (800)752-CNBC

It's funny analyst downgraded CPQ and Micron but not one downgraded Dell. IMHO they are loading the truck with Dell shares.

Stockman Scott, just an interesting theoretical question. Perhaps you know the answer to it.

I've read dozens of 10Q's and 10K's the past month, including reports issued by Gateway, CPQ, HWP, IBM, and Micron. Although the reports are generally dry reading, they all point in one fashion or another to a dubious future economic environment, a challenging foreign marketplace, pressure on margins, product availability challenges, difficult human resource issues, etc.

Have never seen in any report the equivalent of we're doing so poorly because we are getting slammed by a nameless competitor who is keeping us up at night....

Any idea why nobody says anything about getting creamed by DELL?

Best regards,

Mark A. Peterson
