why is asia and brazil affecting IVI?? Hypercom Corp. (HYC) shares fell 4 1/8 to 5 5/8 after the company said it expects to lose six to 9 cents a share in the third quarter. According to First Call, the consensus estimate on Wall Street was a profit of 16 cents. The electronics company blamed Brazil's currency devaluation, the continued slowdown in Asia and Latin America and delays in software certification of its new ICE 5000 terminal for the disappointment.
