And there are different conflicting versions of those commandments depending on which chapter and which translation you choose. The one I get a kick out of is rule number one Thou shalt have no other Gods before me which is a clear implication that the author believed in more than one God but was demanding that this particular Jehova be deemed the alpha God. Jealous of Zeus I would imagine. Later sects got so worried about more than one God being around that they came up with the concept of a scizophrenic trinity of personalities to explain the multiple encarnations of their God and why he talked to himself. I think most people who think about it would laugh until they remembered that has often gotten people burned a the stake.
