Hey limtex,

I appreciate the compliments, but I fear they are undeserved. I have no idea what INTC will do in the short-term, but I think that this is a dip. I get defensive sometimes, and I'm sorry if I reacted that way to you.

It has been pointed out many times on this and other threads that the analysts have a tendency to downgrade a stock after it has gone down and upgrade after it has gone up. You'd notice that today there were 2 brokerages that either upgraded or reiterated a 'strong buy' on intel. These may seem like courageous calls in the current climate, and in the future they may seem like "brilliant" moves. To me it seems like common sense.

The PC makers could just be experiencing seasonal sluggishness and Intel has claimed to be sold out through this quarter. A couple of threadizens have even called IR and confirmed that INTC is not changing their guidance.

In other words, the stock is oversold and undervalued. It often is.

Encouragement? "'tis always darkest before the dawn..."

I think that if you were to hold this stock for a couple of years (going forward), you will be very happy that you didn't sell today.

Personally, I would buy more now if I could.

Thanks for you response,

Chris
