Another statement that it makes is that the gov't owns your body.

The only time the gov't is right to intercede in a transaction is when one of the parties is an unwilling participant. Period.

Actually it isn't. It is a declaration that sex is an individual endeavor that people should enter into without having society peeking in on. Therefore, it is value neutral.
Like abortion. Since the populace is 50/50 on abortion rights, it makes sense to keep it legal. That way, those who wish to engage in the practice (as abhorrent as I and others may find it) may do so without recrimination.
However, the fact that I find the practice abhorrent in NO WAY means that I have the right to force others to share my viewpoint. EVEN IF I was in the majority.
