Claud; Big OIL may be ok, the service stocks have to wait on big oil to make money and increase their budgets before they can go, something like XLE may be OK , as it's weighted towards big oil but has some service in it. ESM is OK under $10, but small cheap oil service stocks still may get cheaper, that's a tough racket until big oil gets on it's feet, don't count on the little guys to do much more than make false rallies on hype. Stay with big oil or none for the time being, the chances of hitting a buy out are slim. Best of oil service has small debt ( not many of them do ).. and pays a dividend like TDW ..it's the only one I'm not scared of, it's bouncing now but may drop back. Best bet is still a basket like XLE or ESM and then you may have to hold a while. Get in the wrong oil serv stock and you could get burned, some of them may go belly up. At the end of the cycle a few do. Jim

I wasn't implying that I have faith of a bottom here or the future prospects of oil etc, just to make that clear. As I said earlier, my system is geared towards option trading and just signals me when I can scalp a 5 point move or so on an issue. I haven't downloaded my quotes for the night yet as I just got home but last I looked XOI was up 7 points which fullfilled my requirements so now it could go either way again. I will have to see what the other parameters I use look like. As usual, I was working and couldn't get the trade off so I missed out. Hopefully some of my buddies did OK though. I am not greedy especially when going against the trend on one like this. I take my 5 points and run. <ggg> Good Luck, Lee
