"Alcatel confiirmed plays to acquire Xylan in a $2 billion transaction and said it expects to buy another Internet-hardware company by next week. SOURCE - Front Page today's Wall Street Journal"

Any quesses who will be bought next week?

Page B6 further says - "It expects to spend a few hundred million dollars to acquire a company specializing in linking mobile computers to local area and other networks. The name of the target company couldn't be learned; most makers of such "remote access" technology are closely held, analysts said."

Any thoughts?
Thanks,
MARUCAT

Just got home.
I see that Dell closed on a good note again.
Dell just keeps on doing good things.
I thought it might do better with the news release
they had today but as always I was wrong.
I still think it is a good solid stock to own.
