It seems amzn is part of some program trading basket. There are times such as now, when its fluctuations are very positively correlated to the DOW ind. avg. Does it make sense to you ?

Yes!! very much so. The above observations has been voiced "many times" by many here. I used to think that it was a program basket, now I think that it is primarily the net-traders movements.

I am really not in tune with the micro movements of AMZN -- but it sure seems to move with YHOO.
