Big:

Do you think this rumor could be the reason RIG's stock price has been so weak in recent days?

Also, any idea why SII is trading with relative strength compared to others at a PE of 35, other than takeover rumors?

Been quiet here. Only recently started reading thread again. Decided I was in O/S for the long haul, and quit watching day to day. Long RIG,SII,GLBL,VRC,SLB.

Hopefully the worm has turned.

Slider: Great posts.

Regards, Chas

FWIW,

I suspect the same thing is happening in the 'fabs'. A lot of small companies with insiders controlling over 50% of the shares and no one wants to be 'Little Dog' (no pun intended). FGI and GIFI are still on the look out for more acquisitions with the right fit and @ the right price.

Big Dog: I just now got a chance to read that article you posted on the Mexican reserve revisions. Is OPEC as transparent about such things as Mexico seems trying to be?

Both you and Slider have been posting about the effect of the recent US production cuts having "not shown up yet." Care to share with the thread when you think they will?

Thanks.

Yours truly,
