Tabler...I'll try to help, if I can. When I worked as a broker last, at MLynch, if I entered an order to cancel a previous order, I quickly got back a TOO LATE TO CANCEL message on my screen, if it was too late....there was no hanging out more than a minute or two. If i wasn't too late, I quickly got back ORDERED CANCELLED message with a readout of the order that was cancelled so there was no confussion with multiple orders from the same account. On-line trading is different but I don't see why, technologically, it would hard to quickly track down an order. Hope I understood your dilemna correctly, and if so, this helps. DAISY
