You make a good point on pricing and the world wide deflation is going to and is already putting a lot of pressure here. This is why we see earnings weakening. I think most of the gains have already been made with technology and the gains from here will be incremental compared to the last 10 years.

I also invest long term like yourself and agree this is a good plan. US based Tech companies are excellent choices. I like to get in early on new leading edge technology.

You might want to check out TSI Telsys, it is listed on Montreal but is US based and managed. There is a write up on my site. Is one of my current favorites.

Got to run now, be back tommorrow

Y2K Test to Start Sweeping Wall Street

dailynews.yahoo.com

"The securities industry as a whole is estimated to be spending up to $6 billion in an extensive program to ensure computer systems will not crash."

Anyone care to hazard a guess at the companies who will benefit from this spending the most? Hardware, software, IT?

I would think we would be seeing more company announcements of remediation contracts.
Any thoughts?

Regards,
Bill
