>Have you ridden this sucker down since that meeting in S.F.?<

I bought BTRN more recently. It was a profitable investment until this week. I saw yesterday morning as a buying opportunity, but it has gone further south since I added to my position. My average purchase price is just $2, so at $1 15/16 I'm not exactly overcome with angst.

Right after that Informed Investors Forum meeting in SF I did buy and ride down SUNP from $4-1/4 to $1, but I got gutsy and doubled down just before the recent rebound, so that one is currently a net winner for me. Scraping out a gain from a biotech with such a small market cap isn't easy, so I'm very proud of that accomplishment. I'm the heaviest poster on the SI thread for SUNP and no one has yet given me a reason not to love it. I was also a big fan of IMGN, but your analysis of the potential for a dilutive financing around the corner is cogent, so I took my profits at 3-3/16ths. Do you want to take a shot at convincing me to sell SUNP too? :-)

Marc

Hi Rick,

I was just surfing stocks at Yahoo charts among the hundreds of stocks I follow...I came across this:

quote.yahoo.com

Needless to say the first thing I did was come to check this thread. Personally I think the media is about due for some transplant exposure. Over time I have followed these large block transactions around with considerable success.

I have been following BTRN's chart anticipating an entry point. Actually expecting ( hoping ) for a somewhat lower level than the current shareprice. Given the large block activity I theorize someone conceded the stock was at least a fair buy at current levels. I have thus resolved to buy in two or three parts. I would hate to miss out on a breakout in whole or in part.

PS: The gentlemen who received the hand transplant is in my vicinity. The local media gave it considerable attention. Fascinating stuff. By the way thanks to your mystery contact for the great link a few posts back.

BEST WISHES
Jeffrey
