Agreed. But the italics and bold erasing is a function of IE. Netscape retains those codes.


Wrong. I use IE 4.x on both NT and Win98 and I've never had italics or bold removed. I always preview the post and often edit.

I have had IE erase the entire message if it was unable to post and I had to back up to the previous page.
