Bruce: You may well be correct. Time will tell.!

Friday close may prove to be a good measure.

Bruce, I think both you and Doug point to the same fact but draw different conclusion. Management. The fact of the matter is that even though COMS has a big chunk of low margin revenue, it is still a viable cash cow if it is done right. The problem is that Eric B has not been willing to step up the plate, so to speak. I won't say he is totally worthless. For instance, his deal to make Candlestick Park into 3COM Park was really a trendsetter. However, he is behaving like the boy who cried wolf. For the past 2 years, whenever COMS hit an air pocket, he tried to drag the whole sector with it. Morgie reiterates a STRONG BUY on CSCO [no position] today is actually how the networker analysts see Eric B. Someone here mentioned about the CFO is definitely on target. I mean, stuffing channels and cooking the book [when COMS tried to expense more than allowed] really pointed the grimmicks. If I were a networker analyst, I'd be disgusted too.

Unless COMS is injected with some new blood, not just finding a scapegoat here or there, people will be wary.

best, Bosco
