That's up to you. So no need for resentment on your part, while I on the other hand personally resent being told that I cannot carry a weapon for my own protection. If I am in what I perceive to be a threatening situation or area, I should have the right to protect myself. bp

Every school district has a special ed program for emotionally disturbed kids. Guess what happens to these kids when they graduate. They suddenly don't need services. They are cured and living in the mainstream community with the rest of us. This doesn't even include the wackos you mentioned who are removed from school, when they get bigger than their teachers and there is no adequate service for their unmanageable violent behavior. No exaggeration Michelle and we are talking the tip of the iceberg here. There is an ocean of people barely surviving on the edge. Its getting to be more and more of a problem. You can multiply its effects when you want to remove standards of decency and never judge other peoples behavior or lifestyle. I agree with you that it would be a wonderful thing to have peaceful coexistance. Hey I was in California during the flower child era, some people called me one. Have peace, but with at least a grain of wisdom about what is going on in the world around you. You may live in a covenant community or something where you feel secure. Good for you. There is a great big world out here where that is not the case.
