OK here is a brief synopsis, I am not the greatest note taker, but this is what I heard:

Response to question about how Netscape at one time was a competitor, and how Andresson and Netscape will adjust to merging: AOL has come a tremendous way... is in a tremendous leadership position...

Q: How do you meld the two companies? A: AOL is more consumer oriented, Netscape more tech oriented, but both are devoted to everyone using the net

Q: What are you going to do at AOL? A: broad slate of things... new technologies, broadband, devices, telling the aol story, working the new partnership with Sun... unlimited number of things

Q: The boom in the internet is surprising, give your take on the frenzy: A: everyone understimated how big the internet will get. It is the first birth of a new indeusty since aerospace....

Q: Wall Street wonders if techs are overdone on company valuations, what is your opinion: A: Greenspan nailed it, it is a sloppy proces but it is the Americanit system at work... by and large will keep growing, but some companies crash and burn, same as with the birth of the car industry, etc

Q: What are you looking at next for the next evolution? A: We have just begun to see consumerization of the internet.... cheap devices, overseas.. broadband with audio and music, the internet will expand like mad over the next five years

Q: What about Linux, give us your thoughs on if it can survive aa a competitor to windows. A: Linux is interesting becauee it is superior to everything and is free.... thousands of people are working on it... it is consolidating the unix market... but it will take years.... Linux is growing fast, momentum is growing

What will you do first at aol: A: AOL will become aggessive, explore new technologies, become a consolidator, netscape will bring technology, it is a great position
