CB, once in a while the tabloids get it right. A major market decline in 1999 does not seem far fetched to me. Mike

Coby, I think the stock market has reached down the social strata and now the tabloids figure they can sell by calling for something fantastic and nearly impossible, like a market crash. <g> But I only read The Star and TNE for the fashion pictures. I love to see big stars dressed like goomers.

LOL!!!!!!! I'd take that as the ultimate contrarian indicator. afterall... who believes a tabloid rag?

Imagine the following:

the mkt starts to selloff a little and your kid says "Mom, the Inquirer said the mkt was going to crash?"

You respond "HO HO HO, silly boy. That rag also said that the one eyed bat boy and his alien friends were going to return Elvis to Earth soon. Joey Battfaglia says the mkt is going higher... who are you gonna believe?"

I do (g). I am the shopper, cook, laundry person around here (g). I cruise the floors of WallyWorld about 3 or 4 times a week and prices they be rising (g)
